A Look Back on January

A Look Back on January

After welcoming 2018 underneath an array of incredible fireworks from Sydney Harbour Bridge, we then travelled to Melbourne, completed The Great Ocean Road, explored New South Wales’ Blue Mountains and fell in love with Byron Bay. It has been a busy old month, and a month I will never forget. There has been more to it though, I’ve set goals that I’ve achieved before the month was over, I’ve discovered new passions and I have met some of the most incredible people.

My First Australia Day

My First Australia Day

I’ve heard of Australia Day before, but I admit I had no idea what the day was actually about. However, due to how brilliant the Aussie’s are, and any excuse for a drink, right? I’ve been pretty excited about this day for quite a few weeks.  It’s been interesting talking to locals about how they celebrate Australia Day, as everybody does something different. Appreciate Your Parents More, Please

Appreciate Your Parents More, Please

Starting a blog post is a challenge in itself. I have dozens of headlines jotted down within the notes of my phone, ready to be inspired at any moment – or should I say, hoping to be inspired sooner rather than later, and the majority of the time, it never happens. I have so many empty pages of unwritten sentences all over the place, gone to waste and they are more than likely never going to be finished.

Let’s Talk About “Instagram Algorithm” and How it is Taking Over Your Life

Let’s Talk About “Instagram Algorithm” and How it is Taking Over Your Life

Instagram, I remember when the app first became a thing – I was in High School, and I loved the idea of adding shitty filters to my already embarrassing photos taken on my smartphone. I would, like everyone else, add the terrible black border around every post, share over three different pictures a day, and the idea of having a theme to my pictures wasn’t even a thing. It was a new social media craze that allowed us to post our memories and share them with our family and friends.
